Pannell Meadowview Recreational Pool

The Samuel C. Pannell Meadowview Community Center Pool is open June through August. The pool is fully accessible and includes on-site changing rooms. "Aqua Chairs" are available for people that use wheelchairs to transfer into to make entering and exiting the pool a breeze. The pool has a beach (zero) entry. The pool is heated to 80 degrees, but not heated during the summer. There is ample free accessible parking.

For those that would like to enjoy our other pools independently, lifts are also available at Clunie, Doyle, Johnston, McClatchy Park, Natomas High School, and George Sim pools.

Access Aquatics swim lessons are available at Clunie, Doyle and Pannell Meadowview pools during the summer. Classes are open to children, teens and adults of all abilities. Access Aquatics welcomes and encourages injured, ill or wounded veterans that would like join in the fun and get in “the swim of things” at one of our fine classes.

  • Camp Korey - a camp for children with craniofacial differences, is free for all children and is located in Carnation, WA. The camp is part of the Hole in the Wall Association New Window of camps founded by Paul Newman. This is the third year that Camp Korey has offered programs for children with facial differences. This overnight camp runs from June 27 until July 2, 2010. It is open to children aged seven to sixteen, and there are currently 32 spaces available. Camp Korey is fully staffed by doctors and nurses and has a medical facility onsite. They have the ability to serve children with acute medical needs as well as developmental delays.
