Teen Outdoor Education Camp – June 18-20, 2008
Come join us at this three day/two night residential campbeing held at Camp Sacramento, staying in rustic cabins in the beautiful Sierra Mountains, near Lake Tahoe. This camp is geared  for teens who have intellectual and or developmental disabilities, educational hikes and activities.

Young Adult Camp – June 22-25, 2008
Come join us for this four day/three night residential camp being held at Camp Sacramento, geared for young adults ages 20-35 with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities. We will be staying in rustic cabins in the beautiful Sierra Mountains, near Lake Tahoe.

Come join us at Camp Sacramento for 4 days/three nights, staying in rustic cabins in the beautiful Sierra Mountains, near Lake Tahoe. This camp is for adults ages 30 and up with intellectual and or developmental disabilities.

WAVE Camp is based at California State University Sacramento and is open tochildren 10 to 25 years old with physical disabilities.

Explore urban, mountain, and coastal hiking trails. Make new connections with nature, and learn about our natural environment. Enhance and promote confidence in physical and leisure capabilities for lifetime participation Experience different levels of fitness, strength and endurance. Hikers need to be in good physical condition, enjoy long hikes, have a day pack, and have sturdy, comfortable walking shoes.

 

Camp C.O.O.L.
Camp CoolCamp Challenge Ourselves through Outdoor Leisure (C.O.O.L.) is a three-day, two night residential camp for young adults age 10-25 with physical disabilities.  Camp C.O.O.L. consists of an exciting one-day snowmobile trip; 2 half-day downhill snow ski lessons from the skilled staff of Disabled Sports, USA at Alpine Meadows; and one session of sled hockey/skating. All activities, food, lodging, transportation and equipment are covered under Camp C.O.O.L. fees.


Snow Camp

Snow Camp Supporting New Opportunities through Winter Sports LogoA sports camp designed to provide instructional/recreational sports opportunities for people 15 or older with intellectual disabilities. Snow sports provide an opportunity to participate in purposeful fitness, recreational, competitive and social activities. This camp is vendorized through the Regional Center. Fees include room and board, t-shirt, instruction in Alpine skiing and competition, equipment rental, lift pass, transportation to and from activity site, and social activities.


Camp Wilderness Adventure Mountain Program (WAMP, Inc.)

Camp Wilderness

WAMP Inc. is an outward bound type wilderness camp experience for youth with physical challenges. Getting there is half the fun. Campers and staff 4x4 into the beautiful camp site on Hawley Lake in the Sierra Mountains. At night all sleep under the stars, while each day campers, together with their individual counselors, create a personalized experience based on the camper's individual ability. Campers choose from different structured morning activities, then set their own pace in the afternoon to choose from the activities offered to them by the surrounding natural setting.

Grizzly Creek Ranch
Grizzly Creek Ranch is a beautiful “fully accessible” built for individuals with disabilities. The camp is nestled in the Sierras just outside of Portola California. Camp activities include fishing, hiking, swimming in a zero entry pool, arts and crafts, low and high rope challenge activities, field sports, court sports and tie-dye.
